Tulip Festival 2014

It's our third consecutive year hitting up the tulip festival. This year we went again with the Mowery's. Brooke and I were reminiscing that last year at this time we were 7 months pregnant and now we have the girls who are 9 months old! Brandon and Logan love going on the cow tractor ride and going in the bouncy houses.  We had lunch there this year and the found was super good.  The weather was beautiful and the tulips were beautiful.  I love going because I get some of my most favorite pictures all year.  Olivia had fun playing amongst the tulips but had the most fun grabbing one of them and flinging it around.  Addie and Olivia really are starting to interact together now that they are getting older which is neat to watch.  Overall a really fun day!

Seahawks win the Super Bowl! Valentine's Day, Snow day, and St. Patrick's Day

2014 was a very special year for me because my team, the Seattle Seahawks won the super bowl!  I also won my fantasy football league mainly because of the Seahawks players I had.  Of course, I got Olivia a little Seahawks dress that she wore proudly on Seahawks game days.  We had a small get together with our friends the Mowery's and the Cullimore's for the Superbowl.  The Seahawks hard game was the game before when they were playing the 49ers and they ended cremating the Broncos in the Super Bowl, was not close at all!

Valentine's Day this year was pretty low key.  Sean and I celebrated with fondue on our own after the kids went to bed and a yummy bottle of good wine.  We also got Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.  We watched the Olympics afterwards while we ate (I know so romantic!).  Brandon had a blast with Valentine's Day, he had a party at school, and Cupid brought him a Bucky bath toy along with some candy.  Daddy and Brandon went and got mommy two bouquets of flowers too!  So sweet!

We got Brandon's first real snowstorm this February of his life.  It started snowing on a Thursday afternoon and continued all through the following Saturday.  Sean and I both had work canceled on Friday so we had a fun snow day.  We loved having our Subaru during the snow as we were easily about to drive in it.  We made it to Fred Meyer and got some food and a snow disc for Brandon to sled with.  We also ventured out to the Mowery's house and played in the snow with them.  Brandon had a blast in the snow and built a snow man with daddy and loved sledding.  Olivia was pretty indifferent to it.

 St. Patrick's day was really low key this year.  For one, it was on a Monday and for two we have kids.  I did dress the kids up in their St. Patrick's gear to celebrate and Olivia definitely looked like a little Irish lass with her red hair and pale skin!
