In Mid July we had a free weekend and so I convinced Sean to go to the beach with the kids and the dogs (Teddy had never been) for a day. We drove to Cannon Beach which is only 1.5 hours away from our house. Unfortunately the traffic was really bad out there so it took an extra 30 minutes. We finally got to the beach and decided to go to Arch Cape area as Cannon Beach's main beach looked very crowded. We got there and there quite a few people walking around with no masks and it was hard to find a parking spot. We ended up walking away from the crowd for about 10 minutes and found a somewhat empty area of the beach. We were able to let both dogs off leash and let them run in the ocean and we had fun throwing the football. Teddy loved the water and the beach. We found a fun little waterfall that was part of the beach and hiked up there. After playing at the beach we headed to Pelican's which had a fun open aired restaurant and we got to experience eating out for the first time (not take out) since March. I got a very yummy cocktail there! It was a fun way to end our day.

Olivia had a fun playdate with her good friend Teodora where they went roller blading together. The girls had just had a fun zoo camp together so I felt pretty comfortable with them having out together. Olivia got to start gymnastics at the park (first time not having zoom gymnastics and she enjoyed so much having her teacher back in front of her even though she didn't have her gym equipment with her). Brandon's spring little league which was postponed due to COVID got pushed to July and actually started. They were allowed only to scrimmage amongst other Tigard Little league teams and fans were not allowed to watch in the stands but it was so nice that he was at least able to play. The day before we left for Sun River Olivia's good friend Teodora had her 7th birthday party at Bull Mountain park where we had Olivia's party. Olivia had fun celebrating with all of her friends again.
