Mini Olympics in June

Olivia had her third Mini Olympics in early June where she got to showcase all of her gymnastics skills she learned over the year at Westside.  She was in the 4-5s class this year and learned so much.  Towards the end of the year, she learned how to do a cartwheel.  Now she is working on a one handed cartwheel and does cartwheels everywhere so she can practice.  She loved having her best friend Addie in her class this year.  We also enjoyed also having the class on Sundays which is a much calmer day at Westside than Saturdays.  Olivia loved having teacher Stephanie as her teacher again this year.  Stephanie is a sweet fit Grandma who looks like she is barely older than me and Olivia loved her.  Olivia's class learned a floor routine and they practiced it most of the year.  Unfortunately the mini olympics was on a early Sunday morning at 8:30 AM so just Sean, Brandon, and I went but we had a lot of fun watching Olivia and it was nice that it was over by 10:30.  Olivia had a blast and is looking forward to her Mini Olympics next year already.
