Fun Trip to Lincoln City for Memorial Day weekend

We went to Lincoln City for three nights for Memorial Day weekend with our good friends the Mowery's.  Brandon was so excited to play with his best friend Logan.  We stayed at a really neat beach house only about a 5 minute walk to the beach.  It had its own little path from the beach house.  Brandon and Logan went to the beach every day and had a blast digging in the sand and playing with their dump trucks in the sand.  Brandon especially liked loading his dump truck up with sand and then dumping it into the ocean stream.  They played for several hours each day at the ocean.

The weather luckily cooperated for the most part but it rained really hard the day we left.  We played at the beach, Brandon flew his first kite (a butterfly), the adults played Monopoly while the kids were in bed, and Brooke and I went shopping and our husbands went to the casino.  Brooke and I were in our third trimester (I was 35 weeks pregnant) and so we took it fairly easy.  We watched TV and looked for tutus for our girls for most of the weekend on Etsy.  We BBQed at the house and then went out to Seafood the night we got to Lincoln City at Kyros and then at Depot Bay.  In all, it was a really fun weekend.
