Woodburn Tulip Festival in April!

In the middle of April we went to the Woodburn Tulip Festival for the second year in a row.  We went this time with our good friends the Mowery's who have Logan who is one of Brandon's best friends.  The weather was fairly good despite having a strong chance of rain.  I love the tulip festival because it reminds me that Spring is coming and the flowers are beginning to bloom and grow.  Spring is one of my most favorite times of the year and I was born in the Spring.

This year Brandon and Logan were old enough to participate in almost all of the activities at the festival by themselves which was really nice because the adults did not have to cram themselves into tiny tractor rides.  They were really excited and engaged in the festival too and loved running amongst the tulips (although we did get the stink eye a few times for trouncing through the field).  The boys went on 2 tractor rides, jumped in two bouncy houses, and went down a huge slide .  We also got a yummy elephant ear to share at the end.  Brandon loved the elephant ear.  I was only about 30 weeks pregnant and felt pretty good too.  It was a very fun festival!
