This year, New Year’s Eve fell on a Saturday night which was nice! Both of our companies celebrated the holiday on Monday so it was a nice three day weekend. Our good friends the Mowery’s invited us over to their house for a New Year’s celebration and dinner. Taylor made a good Minestrone soup and we all brought over sides to go with the soup. There was a stray snow flake or two when we left but it luckily never amounted to anything that night! Our good friends the Cullimores came over too and it was fun playing games with them-we played Citizens of Humanity and the Oregon Trail game. The kids had a blast playing together and seeing each other’s new Christmas toys. We all left by 11:00 PM because the kids were getting tired and I put Olivia to bed but Brandon made it all the way to midnight with us! We got a cute selfie of the three of us at midnight. We enjoyed out quiet New Year’s with the family and in company of our good friends.
