A birthday party and a trip to the zoo in early July

The weekend after Olivia's birthday we had our 3rd birthday party in a row as Olivia's good friend Addie had her 5th birthday party.  Addie had her birthday party at her Grandma's pool in West Linn.  Olivia and Brandon had a blast in the pool and I blew up this giant Frog float we had.  It was amazing to see how good both kids were in the pool after their swim lessons and I didn't have to go in much at all.  The kids swam for a while and then went inside and had snacks and then got to do a piñata.  Both my kids love pinatas so they were excited for that.  After that, they got to have cupcakes and then Addie opened up her presents.  It was a fun day celebrating Addie.

The frog gloat was a hit!

Olivia enjoyed it

Brandon, Logan and Luke enjoyed some boy time on the frog too

The next day, I took the kids to the zoo.  It was a warmer day so it was not quite as crowded as I thought it would be.  The kids had a blast at the zoo and we went on the zoo train.  We saw the elephants quite a bit and the giraffes.  I had fun bringing my new camera with me and trying out the two lenses I had.
