At the beginning of November, Sean and I got to escape for 36 hours and go up to Seattle for the night to watch the Seahawks play the Raiders. We bought tickets from my Dad's childhood friend who owns Season Tickets and was very lucky to have awesome seats to the game. We got to go out with my good friend since college Corinne and her sister to watch the Ducks play at a bar (gasp we never get to go out to bars any more with the kiddos). The next morning we had brunch with Sean's sister's family and his cousin Zach. Then we headed to the game and met up with my cousins Lauren and Alex who happened to be in Seattle for the weekend for the game. The Seahawks beat the Raiders but it was closer than we thought it would be and was a great game.

In November, we were greeted with several very cold clear days. They had forecasted snow even one day but we only got a light dusting that did not even stick but got a ton of icicles. The kids still loved going to the park even though it was cold and clear. Olivia learned that she loves slides. She would go down the slides over and over again sometimes with Brandon and some times by herself. She also is very sturdy now on her feet and has gotten quite adept in running around the playground and going on the play structures.

The Thursday before Thanksgiving, Brandon and Olivia had their annual school Thanksgiving luncheon. My mom and I went to the luncheon with the kids. Brandon got to wear this cute little turkey hat they made in Jr. Kindergarten. He had a lot of fun with his friends and we discovered that both kids love turkey and pumpkin pie! Olivia also loves cranberry sauce. Interestingly enough neither kiddos liked mashed potatoes.

We had a lot of people over to our house for Thanksgiving. On Wednesday night, everyone arrived around 9:30 PM. We had Grammy and Papa (Sean's parents), Great Grandma P (Sean's Grandma) and Sean's sister Dawn's family including her husband Jose and their kids Kevin and Bianca. Sean's parents brought their friend's motor home which helped with the sleeping arrangements since our house did not have enough sleeping room for everyone. All of the cousins had so much fun playing together all weekend. Bianca and Olivia interacted but did not play that much yet but Kevin and Brandon really played well together and were good buds.
Everyone brought food and a dish to make. We made the traditional turkey and then Sean smoked a prime rib in our new Traeger grill. We had garlic mashed potatoes, rolls, fresh cranberry sauce, stuffing, green bean casserole, and Dawn made a yummy pear crisp and Sean's Grandma brought a pumpkin pie. Needless to say we were stuffed after Thanksgiving dinner and everyone went to bed pretty early that night. I snuck away with my good friend Brooke that night to do some early Black Friday shopping.
Everyone stayed until Sunday for four nights. We played Cards Against Humanity that we borrowed from Rosie and Thomas, watched the Civil War game, and watched a lot of football and ate a lot of good food. It was a very fun time.
