Anniversary fun

This year the Thursday and Friday before our anniversary my parents took the kids down to Corvallis for 2 nights.  Thursday night we both had to work but went out to yummy Sushi together and then had fun playing video games until we went to bed.  Friday we both worked but got off at 2:00 PM to go to the Oregon Brewer's Festival.  We had bought tickets at Brandon's school's auction in the spring.  The beer festival was a lot of fun but crowded.  We used up our tickets and then met Jaime and Ben in downtown Portland to go out to dinner.  We had a yummy adult dinner and then went to a fun roof top bar where they had beautiful views of the city.  We ended the night with dessert at Papa Hayden's and a fun walk around the neighborhood there.  It was so much fun to enjoy some kid free time!

We went down to Corvallis on Saturday to pick the kids up from my parents and to spend the rest of the weekend with my family.  We took the kids to Otter Beach for the day.  We had a very fun time.
