Pomerleau Family Blog: Rest of Summer 2014 Fun!

For this blog, I am going to do something a little bit different and talk about the memories from each pictures with captions. I am so behind in my blog that these pictures help me remember better what we did at the time now that I am writing this in the almost the middle of November. I am hoping to do better and try to keep up better this next time around. Here are my favorite pictures from the rest of the summer 2014, which was a really fun and nice summer!

Olivia loved spending time in her kiddie pool in our backyard. It was a very hot summer perfect for the kiddie pool.

Olivia at Addie's first birthday party in the middle of July. Addie had a pool party at her Grandmother's neighborhood pool. It was a very hot day (close to 100 degrees) so it was very nice to be able to spend the day in the water.

All ready to go the Rehearsal Dinner

A beautiful sunny day at the beach on the day of the wedding. Sean had groomsmen duties so I had the kids to myself before the wedding and took them down to the beach to play in the waves and the sand. Brandon especially had a ton of fun running in the ocean and chasing the waves.

Olivia took a bad spill off of her little car wagon right before the wedding and so had a scraped up face.

Brandon at the golf course near the wedding. The wedding reception was a ton of fun. They had very yummy food including prime rib. There was a open bar and the grey hound drinks were super good as they made them with fresh grapefruit juice. They also had very yummy McMennamins wine and beer there as well. We kept the kids up late and had a lot of fun dancing with them on our shoulders. It was very fun to celebrate with Sean's family and with Neil and Julie!

Sean and I took our anniversary day off and sent the kiddos to daycare. We went out to breakfast and then golfed at Heron Lakes. We also went out to an early dinner together at Henry's to celebrate before picking the kids up.

In August, I volunteered at Brandon's school's field trip to Cook Park. We had a lot of fun playing with his friends and had a picnic there. Brandon was excited for me to meet all of his friends.

I took the kids to the Portland zoo in August. Olivia loved looking at all the animals.

Hello? This is Brandon!

Towards the end of August we took a three day weekend and went to Corvallis to visit with my parents. We stopped at Enchanted Forest on the way down to Corvallis. This was Brandon's second time going to Enchanted Forest and he had a ton of fun there this time. Here is going through the Alice and Wonderland keyhole.

Olivia enjoyed walking all over Enchanted Forest and looking in the little rooms. Here she was looking into the three Bears house.

Brandon went on several of the rides at Enchanted Forest. He went with me and Sean on the bob sled roller coaster. He went with Sean on some laser gun boat, and he went with CiCi and on the water log roller coaster. He loved all of them.

Love these two. Brandon had a lot of fun playing at Wild Cat Park. He was able to do everything at the playground this year. He loved to swing especially.

Brandon could still play at Avery Park on the train for hours. He loves playing with CiCi on the train and pretend that it is moving. It is quite fun but also quite exhausting for those playing with him at times with the repetition.
