First day of school-Brandon in 1st Grade and Olivia in Kindergarten at Rocking Horse

Brandon's first day of school fell on the day after Labor Day.  It was nice because Olivia's first day in the kindergarten room at Rocking Horse fell the next day on Wednesday.  The entire family dropped Brandon off at school and walked him into his class.  It was awesome seeing his classroom and taking a few cute pictures in his class.  I of course got the cute photos of him before we left for school and on the way to school where we parked our car.  Brandon was super excited to start first grade and was so happy to be back at school with his friends.

Brandon is 51" tall, is 6.5 years old, his teacher is Mrs. Lambert, and he wants to be a dinosaur hunter when he grows up

Such a difference in a year!  Brandon's face and body is so much slimmer in a year-he lost all of his cute baby fat but grew so much taller!

Olivia was super excited to start kindergarten in Miss Lincoln's room the Wednesday after Labor Day.  We picked our her first day of school outfit with care and she chose a fun unicorn dress with her cow girl boots that she loves.  We packed up all of her school supplies the night before in her school backpack.  She woke up the next day very excited.  We got dressed and I was able to take some pictures of Olivia at the house before we left.  Sean dropped Brandon off at school and then met us at Rocking Horse so we could see Olivia walk over to kindergarten.  She liked that.  She had a great first day of Kindergarten at Rocking Horse.  Hard to believe that a little under 4 years ago she started at Rocking Horse in the infant room as a 5 month year old baby in their infant room and now she is writing her letters and will be learning how to read.  We are so proud of her!
