Jog-A-Thon 2017

On Friday September 29th, Brandon had his school’s Jog-A-Thon.  He had gotten several pledges from family members and friends on a per lap basis so had an incentive to run as far as he could.  The Jog-A-Thon is one of Alberta Rider’s main fundraising event for the year and is organized by the PTO.  Both Sean and I were able to come to the Jog-A-Thon and cheer Brandon on.  We got lucky because it had been pouring down rain that morning for the other grades but had cleared up by the time Brandon ran.  Brandon did awesome and ended up running 26 laps or 2.6 miles in 30 minutes.  He was hot and sweaty and had worked so hard.  He also ended up raising $189 for his school.

Getting a drink-running for 30 minutes is hard work!
Running hard for his last lap!
26 laps completed and the entire sheet marked off-2.6 miles in 30 minutes is awesome!
