Halloween Night 2017

We decided to go trick or treating with our good friend the Mowery's family.  I got off work early and picked up a heart Pepperoni Papa Murphy's pizza (their holiday special) and another pizza Supreme for the adults in the day after Brandon's school party and had it all ready to go!  I picked up Brandon at around 4:00 PM from the YMCA after school care and then we grabbed Olivia.  I got the kids dressed up in their costumes and got some cute photos of the kids before Sean came home.  Then we all headed over to the Mowery's house to eat some pizza.

The kids gobbled down the pizza and then were super excited to go off trick or treating.  The plan was to do the Mowery's neighborhood and then head to the business Greenfield drive area near Brandon's school (where they have a cotton candy machine and hot dogs being grilled).  Brandon and Logan ran ahead of the girls and was basically running from house to house.  They were having a blast!  They got some really good candy in Brooke's neighborhood as well.  Olivia and Addie had a blast as well too getting candy.  It was a beautiful warm sunny evening too.

After we finished up at the Mowery's neighborhood we headed to Greenfield where Brandon saw several classmates.  It was really crowded but the kids still had a blast.  One of the houses even had "Adult candy-little bottles of flavored vodka."  We trick or treated for a while and then called it a night at around 8:30 PM.  The kids had very heavy bags and had change them out to the 2nd bags I brought once!  It was a very good night!  They had a blast sorting through all their candy when they got home and trading (best part ever).  Olivia was definitely old enough to know about trading this year and was a great negotiator with her brother.
