Brandon's summer and update at 5.5 years old!

Brandon graduated from preschool in June at Horizon so he got to spend the entire summer with the Elementary class (the older kids going into Elementary school) at Horizon which meant field trips 2-3 times a week and fun older kids to play with.  He got to have his teacher from the Park Class, Miss Tiffany all summer too which made him really happy.  They had wet and wild Wednesdays where they went to different Splash pad parks around the Portland area which was really fun.  They also went to the Children's museum, went to a couple plays, went to Discovery Village in Salem, went to Lego Store and built legos, went to a reptile show, OMSI, the Oregon zoo, and made fun crafts like Tie Dye shirts.  He enjoyed going to school every day and was excited to go.  That made us happy.  Brandon also lost his first tooth at 5.5 at school!  It was so cute how Miss Tiffany celebrated and sent me a really cute picture celebrating his first tooth!  The tooth fairy came and left Brandon a really cute letter and 6 half dollars!  Brandon ended up losing two more teeth (for a total of 3 teeth) this summer!  Brandon also kept up with his friendships with his Rocking Horse friends and although we were gone a lot of the summer.  I kept looking at this summer as Brandon's last summer as a little boy as next summer he will be going to into first grade and will be such a big boy at 6.5!  I love my mellow, sweet, compassionate, happy go lucky Brandon!
