I spent the first part of Halloween day, which was on a Monday, at Olivia's school where her class went trick or treating amongst local businesses near her school. It was really fun to come and watch Olivia's classmates all dressed up for Halloween and to be able to go with them and help out while they went Trick or Treating. Olivia had a blast trick or treating with her friends. After they were done I left and worked for a few hours before Brandon's Halloween Party started.

After Olivia's treat or treating with her class, I went to Brandon's school about two hours later. I had signed up during parent night to help out at the Halloween party. I got to Brandon's class a bit early before the party and helped set everything up. Then I ran a little game they were having involving pin the eye on the monster. The kids liked the game and got little prizes after. Brandon had a really fun classroom Halloween party.

Then after the two fun parties, I went back home and worked for a few hours and then went to pick the kids up from school. This was our second time trick or treating in our neighborhood (although the previous year it was a torrential downpour and we went with Sean's sister and her family). We made arrangements to meet Brooke's family in a nearby neighborhood that was known for their Halloween celebrating. The street was filled with kids and there were little tents set up with cotton candy and hot dogs being BBQed. It was quite the scene! We got there a bit late but still had a lot of fun. The kids got a lot of candy and Olivia got quite good at saying "Trick or Treat." Our little candy loving girl loved getting candy! And despite having such a wet and yucky October, the weather cooperated so it didn't ran while we were trick or treating. A winning year!
