Christmas Eve

We had a fun and quiet Christmas eve and weekend before Christmas just with our family.  We were supposed to head down to Eugene to spend the weekend before Christmas with Sean's parents but they had to unexpectedly move Sean's Grandma's stuff out of her house as it sold.  We ended up staying at our house and it was really nice to relax and not be rushing around.  I had a very busy week leading up to Christmas at work too.  On Christmas Eve we made yummy sugar cookies and decorated them.  We also made yummy white chocolate ginger snap cookies.  We went swimming the YMCA and went and had drinks and played Jenga at Tigard Taphouse.

The kids got to open up their Christmas presents from each other on Christmas Eve.  They were so excited to see what they gave each other.  Brandon gave Olivia a Glow in the dark Squishy and a Pikimi Pop and Olivia gave Brandon Hex Bugs and a Pokemon card set.  Both kids loved their gifts.  We had our traditional sandwiches under the Christmas tree and Lulu joined!  Then we hung our stockings and read the Night Before Christmas which Lulu also participated in.  The kids slept together and were so excited for Christmas but did fall asleep pretty quickly.  Santa came while they were sleeping...very nice that Santa did not have travel far and drag all the presents this year!
