Cub Scout trip to Aubrey Lodge

We had a fun den meeting the Friday before we went to Aubrey Lodge at Alberta Rider.  We had a sports and games session and the boy had a blast learning some new games.  We even practiced the wall sit and I beat them all!

Our pack had our stint at Aubrey Lodge President's Day weekend on Sunday.  Most of Brandon's den could come and we carpooled with Logan and Taylor up to the lodge.  Olivia came with us and Lulu stayed home with Sean.  The last few days before we went to Aubrey Lodge it snowed a ton up there and there was lots of fresh snow which was fun.  The snow was almost up to Olivia's waist!  We hiked from the car to the lodge and that was an adventure in its self.

We got to the lodge and the kids began tubing.  Brandon and his fellow den members did not seem to enjoy the tubing as much as Olivia did.  She went down the hill even by herself close to 12 times before lunch.  Brandon and his friends enjoyed working on their snow cave and going down their mini hill on their tubes.  We had a fun lunch and then headed back out to the mountain to enjoy more fun in the snow.  Olivia continued to enjoy going down the tubing hill and then decided she wanted to "chilax" on the mountain for a bit.  We finished the day off going inside a snow tunnel near the lodge.  Then on the way home we stopped off at Dairy Queen for a yummy treat.  It was a fun day!
