Lulu got to meet her mother Sienna who lives in
California. She was in town visiting friends and Lulu's half brother
River's family had everyone over to meet for a Doodle Romp. Lulu's full
blooded sister Lou C (same mother and dad but different litter) was there, her
half brother River (same mom different dad), Heartley (Lulu's Aunt), and Pixel
(River's new little sister and Heartley's baby). The doodles had fun
running around River's backyard and playing together. It was so fun
seeing how similar and different each of them were. Lulu was one of the
smallest but also one of the more chill of the pups. It was fun watching
Lulu interact with her mom. She didn't seem to recognize her mom but
Sienna seemed to recognize Lulu and sniffed her intently.

We went up to Corvallis after spending Father's day weekend
in Eugene to spend two days with my parents. We got to Corvallis in the early
afternoon and went to the Alsea river with the dogs. We went on a short hike
around the Alsea River and then the kids and dogs went swimming in the
river. They both had so much fun. The river was so pretty and it
was fun watching Lulu explore the water. Pumpkin didn't like the water as
much as Lulu but still went wading too.

The next day we had fun going to Walnut Park in the morning and then we went
swimming at Otter Beach. The weather was beautiful the kids had a lot of
fun swimming. It was nice that they could swim so well on their
own. The following day we had to leave but we had fun dressing up Tory's
old American girl dolls and playing with them. We also went to Avery Park
in the morning with both dogs and had fun playing on the train and the dino
bones. The kids were sad to leave CiCi and Baba's house but we had a fun
short visit.

We got back to Portland and went to the zoo the next day. It was a
sunny beautiful day and we had a lot of fun exploring the Great
Northwest. The kids even got to pet the goats. We went on the
carousel and attempted to see Mei Mei the red panda but she was sleeping.
