Spring soccer fun!

Awe just missed a goal!
Olivia did spring Southside soccer with her good friend Addie.  While she did not have any goals this season, it was fun watching her soccer skills grow.  She is very fast!  She had fun and often times had to practice with the 1st grade girls (Due to dance and gymnastics conflicts) and did awesome with them.  She liked practicing with the older girls so much that she asked to practice with them even when she did not have to.  The spring season was a bit smaller and more laid back than the fall league.  They did not have "teams" but formulated teams at each game with the girls play 4v4.  I "assistant coached" with Taylor which often times consisted of me monitoring subs during the game and keeping track of time.  It was fun wathcing the girls progress from the beginning towards the end where they actually looked like they were playing soccer and positions!  The girls endured some nasty rainy and cold weather in the beginning but did great.  The season was short and only 7 games which was nice too with all of Brandon's baseball games going on.
