A weekend in May

When the weather is good, we love pulling out our outdoor water stuff.  We have a slip-n-slide, a smaller baby turtle pool, a larger glow in the dark pool, and a ball that hooks up into the hose and causes water to spray all over the place.  The kids also like playing with the sand table, play house, and playground we have in the backyard.  We try to stay outside as much as we can, especially this year since the winter was so bad and it was so rainy.  The kids this year got the good idea to put the trampoline right near the pool and jump in.  It was so much fun!

On Saturdays Olivia has gymnastics at 9:45 AM and Brandon has Little League baseball games which were either in the morning or the early afternoon.  They lasted for about 1.5 hours from warm up to finish usually.  The kids always want to play at the playground too when the games are over.  The kids have swim lessons on Sundays at 11:15 and 12:00, which they enjoy but it is kind of in the middle of the day. Usually after swim lessons we will go to the park or go grocery shopping at Trader Joes.  Then it is time to do the normal chores (mowing the lawn, doing laundry, making lunches) to get ready for the week.
