Cub Scout Pinewood Derby

In January, Brandon got to design his pinewood derby car to race against other cub scouts.  We had decided on doing a Minion as it seemed like an easier design and Brandon was excited to do it.  I found the Minion idea on Pinterest and Sean's dad over New Year's helped a ton by using his electric sander to get his wood block into a hot dog Minion shape!  I got the paint and Brandon and Sean painted the Minion.  Then Brandon put on the eyes and the Minion was ready to go!  The Pinewood Derby race was really cool.  Each kid got to race their derby car I believe 5 times and then they tallied the top scores.  Olivia and I stayed and watched the first 3 races before leaving as we had to go grocery shopping.  Sean and Brandon stayed.  It was a lot of fun!
