Decorating for Christmas

Thanksgiving was late this year and we were driving back from Seattle on the first weekend of Christmas.  We had a really full weekend after with Brandon's birthday party, 2 basketball games, a soccer game, a birthday party for our family friend the Mowery's son Luke, and Sean's company's Christmas party and we were going to be gone for a lot of the week before Christmas so I wanted to get our Christmas tree as soon as I could.  Normally we go out as a family and find our Christmas tree but Olivia had gymnastics on Monday and it was Brandon's actual birthday so I stopped by at a tree lot that donates the proceeds to cancer in Sherwood and picked out a tree with Lulu.  I then brought it back and Olivia helped me decorate it and put on the lights.  She was a great helper!

In early December we had fun playing Connect Four with a family game night.  We got to make fun piggy banks for our Baloo the Builder cub scout requirements.  Olivia had fun building too.  Olivia and I had fun at our neighbor's house decorating Christmas ornaments.  It was a fun start to the Christmas season!
